Bottler: Five Lions
Extension: Ex-Bourbon barrel
Region: Highlands, Scotland Nose: Fresh, fruity, with a focus on ripe citrus, and a subtle spiciness. In addition vanilla, caramel and malt, also slightly crumbly grapes are included. A hint of apple, some oak as well as paprika and completely chili.
Palate: Very malty, a bit oily and full-bodied. Again citrus and vanilla, also honey. Kitchen herbs, pepper and other spices. That too is already well developed.
Finish: Medium long, the alcohol shows up. Grapefruit, malt and grape must. The oak lingers longer.
Conclusion: Typical for the distillery, of superior quality.
