Solid whisky with a suitable price / performance ratio. He didn't knock me off my stool - but he didn't disappoint me either.
    • Nose
      77 77
      weak fruity sweetness
    • Taste
      77 77
      slightly fruity, sweet, light oak
    • Finish

Pleasant whisky, dry with a sweetness and some peat in the taste that you do not smell.
    • Nose
Wax, candle, caramel. If you leave it a bit, you will smell more and less the sharpness of the alcohol. Then more vanilla.
    • Taste
dry, a little peat, but not surprisingly enough on the nose, creamy and some vanilla wood. Slightly spicy and citrus.
    • Finish
for quite a while again vanilla, caramel and honey. The sweetness remains.

Very good whisky for the money. It has a lovely smell whereas the taste is a little bit on the dry and spicy side. I'd recommend this for sure though, try it for yourself; it's relatively cheap!

Wow, what a smell. Flowery, I get the creamy honey wax notes, hint of banana, apple, grass, vanilla, lemon cheesecake, dried peach, very fresh, in the back some white chocolate, lemon fudge. It smells 'thick' and complex delicious.

3 drops of water accentuates the banana and cheesecake

A little spicy/peppery in the front, a little oily. Not too complex. A nice bitterness. Not much sweetness but it's nice.

3 drops of water adds a little sweetness.
    • Finish
      81 81
A little dry finish, medium length.

Tangerine smell, liquirice taste, get's heavy after some drops of water

    83 – 86 (B) = Good – not a “must”, but a nice-to-have
The majority of my baselines are found here. This range is where the “daily drinker” status starts to emerge and where I find whiskies that’re good to drink, but may rotate in and out of my collection. They’re not something you’d miss when it’s out, but good enough to give a moment’s consideration when at the liquor store.

Dryer than expeted. Nice waxy character. During atasting session a friend of mine call it an old lady whisky... Whatever it means, it still good!
    • Nose
      Austere, shoe wax, tobaco, Xeres
    • Taste
Prune, dry fruits, baking spices, leather, waxy honey.
    • Finish
Medium-long; dry wood with a hint of dark chocolate
