Nose: Heavy caramel-chocolate notes with a very high cocoa content, orange biscuits with sticky jam stains (Jaffa Cakes orange biscuits). This weighty side is perfectly complemented by an airy-floral component, which comes along with a powerful amount of smoke. Sweet honey, raisins and aromas of rum complete the nose.
Taste: Starts with a very thin consistency, which, however, immediately turns into an explosive Wumps. Oranges, rum, raisins, malt, chocolate, lots of smoke, spicy chili and cayenne pepper with lots of minerality and well-packed, well-packed wood notes.
Finish: Super long - with spicy tea aromas and herbs, spicy pepper and a great combination of wood, chocolate, cocoa, Turkish mocha and smoky campfire.
Remark: Rating-wise a continuous back and forth between 92 and 93 points.
92 points (nose: 93 / taste: 92 / finish: 92)
