      Sweet. Ripe fruit. Peaches. Pepper.

  2. Don Cassi scored this whisky 72 points Expert Senior

Slight sherry sweetness in the nose, with a longer standing also banana. The aroma is generally very restrained.

In the mouth and in the finish, mainly raisin again with increasing intensity.

All in all nice notes of sherry, but consistently too thin and watery. In the end, there remains too much bitterness.

    Grade: 2-

Deeper, even softer and already almost completely combed Chivas, well, he is very licked, it quickly becomes boring.

  7. Scherenschnitte scored this whisky 74 points Expert Senior

    • Nose
Mellow, sweet, fruity and simple. Notes of vanilla, apples, pears, honey⁣
    • Taste
Watery, thin mouthfeel. Not as sweet or fruity on the palate as I thought it was going to be from my initial nosing. Immediately get a youthful alcohol taste (almost vodka like) which transitions to a woody taste. Some notes of vanilla, caramel, and a touch of spice. Not impressive on the palate and definitely not popping with any flavor.⁣
    • Finish
Relatively short, dry finish with some wood notes, spice, and maybe a touch smoke. Fades to that young alcohol taste.⁣

  9. Albaron scored this whisky 82 points Specialist

You hardly notice the blend. Very tasty, a strong body with sherry notes. Very nice
    • Nose
Toffee, barley malt, a bit oily, a touch of solvent, slightly sour
    • Taste
Malty, a light sherry note, toffee, barley sugar, slightly sour here too, some black tea, a hint of dried fruit, raisin mainly, caramel, slightly burnt
    • Finish
The dried fruit and the toffee remains, but not for long, at the very end a tiny touch of draft

  10. maltaholic scored this whisky 84 points Connoisseur

The overwhelmed no. Convinced but compared to the 12er, which I like too.
    • Nose
      Sweet sherry, damp wood.
    • Taste
Similar in taste, maybe an idea spicier. Or more oak instead of sherry. You can tell the maturity and the age. Tart, woody, fine.
    • Finish
The finish is not very long, but aromatic and warm.
