A very distinctive high end Speyside nose. (Sub)tropical fruit (pineapple, orange, lemon), white raisin. Further, it's a bit mineral maybe, but otherwise waxy barley, with some grass. The wood influence leads to a thick and oily nose, with polished oak, honey, and creamy vanilla.

It stays very honeyed and polished. Next to that, there is some fruit to be detected, followed by a caramel note. It's not as complex as on the nose however. Still good, but maybe a bit less than I hoped for.

On its turn, the finish is fresher than expected, with juicy lemon and orange, pineapple juice, vanilla ice cream, a hint of pepper, and honey.
