Lowland. Pale straw colour from a bourbon cask. The nose is sharp and
spicy, of cinnamon and cloves, like a nippy sweetie. With water, the
sharpness disappears and the bourbon shows itself in the scent of
peardrops, while the spices remain, but modified to mace and nutmeg.
The taste, too, is spicy: liquorice and pepper. A whisky without fault,
it would serve equally as aperitif or digestif.
