    • Nose
Fruity dark. Plum. Spicy, a hint of leather.
    • Taste
Strong oak. Dark fruit. A touch of leather and tobacco.
    • Finish
      Medium and warm.

Bad he is not good but not (yet). Let's see if there's more to the Schliersee than marketing. It would make me happy because of local patriotism. But one finds oneself there too well, than that one would accept serious criticism and what would change to barrel management etc. It will be bought anyway at any price. 76 points.
    • Nose
slightly alcoholic. Otherwise quite sweet and slightly fruity with hints of blackberry and raspberry. And, of course, the Slyrsian vanilla pampering from the fresh oak barrels. Unfortunately, here is the sour-spicy mountain cheese, you can also call it Käsefuß. Hopefully, this false note disappears in the coming older bottlings
    • Taste
Alcohol and metallic youth is clearly noticeable. The red berries are appealing, as is the distinct vanilla.
    • Finish
Not very long, a bit peppery but also sweet. Some wood wort remains, ok.

Fruity nose, one smells the port, but also the 46% and not much else. Simply young, not really appealing, rather pungent. By the time something more aromatic, ok, but a whisky, which I do not have to have.

  4. Marko_I did not rate this whisky Connoisseur

For years, a Slyrs again - has become better, not bad, but not great. The origin strikes through (not positive), the port keg rescues him, but he does not seem really mature.
    • Nose
First of all, it is a tart note typical of many German whiskys, but it vanishes quickly, then fruity, red grapes, then sweetness - milk chocolate, lots of cinnamon
    • Taste
sweet (chocolate, cocoa), dried fruit, raisins, a hint of dark cherries and blackberries, a little youthful sharpness
    • Finish
medium in length, chocolate, slightly hot
