Such a nice balance of fruitiness and sweetness with a fine and smooth oak note that doesn't overload. Really no water needed. It's a great one!
    • Nose
Intense, oaky, truck loads of dark and dried fruits such as dates, figs, plums, hints of raisins, chocolate,  little honey, whiffs of rubber - fantastic!
    • Taste
Punchy, oily, creamy, totaly chocolatey, very good sweetness balanced with fine oak wood, burned sugar, dried druits again, more dark fruits too - superb!
    • Finish
Medium long and warm, very smooth, little more oaky but not drying at all, still mixed dried fruits - great!

Beautiful sherry there, toffee chocolate orange marmalade, spices, Christmas cake, excellent

This is definately one of my prize possesions. I paid 750$ us and it is well worth it. The Sherry is huge on the nose and at cask strength it is a monster on taste and flavor. If you can get one of these bad boys in your collection, it is awesome. Very Rare on the bottle release also very very limited out there to buy. Enjoy Looking

Mahogany pour. Nose is roasted nuts, cooked dark fruits, and some sharp alcohol coming through. Mouth has a bit of bitterness upfront then opens into lots of big, rich darker flavors. Stewed dark fruits (cherries, dates, figs), "rancio", old leather. A touch of menthol on the finish. Long. Pretty freakin great actually.

Compared with my previously favorite Auchentoshan (https://www.whiskybase.com/whiskies/whisky/84213/auchentoshan-1970) and I have to admit that this one is even better!

Just cracked this open again a year later and it is a Sherry Bomb for sure. Incredible ripe fruit explosive finish and a long after taste. This is an amazing find and at 55.5% is a super star compared to MAC 30. You all know what I mean

share with only your closest friends and very few are left
    • Nose
Lots of dark fruits, sherry, vanilla, toffee pudding
    • Taste
more sherry, toffee, brandied oranges, some fig and leaf like smokey twinge to it
    • Finish
powerful and very satisfying, high ABV but very tolerable

This is one of my prize possessions and a wonderful dram, nose is of sherry, vanilla, oak, some smoke, taste is well balanced, incredible, body that just keeps giving, finish is long an strong and will be that way til its gone, price will hurt, presentation could be better

Quite heavy oak.. almost feels like bourbon, with lots of cinnamon, tree bark, and some caramel. Except, there are also some dried dark fruits with some cherries, cranberries, and black grapes, which show its ex-sherry pedigree . Dried spices, minty tea. It is quite a nose!
    • Taste

Definitely dry, with loads of tannins, but wow, this is very complex. Loads of dried chocolates, creamy coffee, dried fruits once again, dried herbs (oregano, rosemary), and earthy mushrooms.

Yup, there is a finish. So there.
