This is a wonderful collectors bottle. Supply is starting to run low on it so grab one while you can. This is not a typical single malt whisky as all the bottles are non-chill-filtered. That means they keep all of the oils and proteins that give it that fantastic natural flavour. This Highland whisky was distilled in November 1990 and bottled in February 2015 with a small run of 273 bottles. I really enjoyed this Auchroisk. Tasting notes: Fruity, Sherry, Oak, Tea Herbs, with slight spice and bitterness. Definitely a classic single malt that took me back into time. A fantastic dram to celebrate the 90s.

Decent whisky - nothing especially remarkable. My sort of initial exploration of both Auchroisk and Carn Mor. Neither excited me much....
I would not buy again. You can do better.Further exploration - dropping rating to 80. Simply a sort of meaningless whisky - not happy about what I paid for it. Will be contacting Carn Mor after about a month to express my keen disappointment...
