Whisky Reviews for Miltonduff 1994 CA

6 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 86.24 points

  1. DramGoodLife scored this whisky 85 points Expert Senior

    • Nose
      Grassy, zesty and salty. Salted lemongrass with some touches of pepper powder. With air the nose balances a little, the sharp saltiness levels out and honey sweetness comes in.
    • Taste
      Watery on arrival, salted lemons with pepper making a powerful appearance. Holding on the palate the saltiness starts to reveal some sweetness. Lemon sherbet humbugs. Sweet honey finishes off the palate.
    • Finish
      Long finish. Tannins and sour oak making an appearance. As the finish continues it transforms to some sweet honey.

    • Taste
      Deutliche Fruchtigkeit (im Vergleich zur Nase), Zitrone, helle Schokolade, Kokos?, deutliiche Getreidenote - Klebstoff, würzig, holzig;
    • Finish
      Mittellang und nicht besonders aussagekräftig;

  5. Bishlouk scored this whisky 86 points Connoisseur

    A classic Speysider, balanced, and pleasant. It develops well with aeration. Not really anything else to add, actually.
    • Nose
      Fresh and fruity. Small white apple blossoms, yellow melon, pear, peach and juicy apricot. A minty tip in the background. A generous nose.
    • Taste
      Yellow and white stewed fruits. Slightly astringent fruit peel. Sour apple Tingling due to alcohol when you leave a sip in the mouth for a while.
    • Finish
      Average. The astringent fruit peel dominates. A slight pungency persists on the tip of the tongue.
