  1. Koning scored this whisky 85 points Expert Senior

This is a stereotype light Speysider: it has a flowery and grassy quality, complemented by a malty sweetness and citrus fruits. Lacks a bit in the finish though.
    • Nose
      86 86
Subtle but refined: flowers, lemon peel, green apple, freshly baked cake and a bit grassy.
    • Taste
      86 86
Full and creamy with a malty sweetness. Vanilla, honey, lemon cake, oranges and a surpising pinch of salt.
    • Finish
      83 83
Juicy citrus fruits and whipped cream. Very clean finish, almost like drinking 7up.

Nose: Notes of flowery, straw, light grass
Taste: Medium complexity. It is not flat. Noticeable notes of flowers, malt and slightly strawiness
Rating: 85 | 100 It wasn't bad. Light and short finish

Nectarine, citrus, estery, then cream soda and sandalwood. With water , bubble gum, oak and sawdust. Quite nice.
    • Taste
      82 82
Cool mouthfeel, sweet concentrated orange juice. With water...this whisky can't take on water! It needs to be enjoyed neat.
    • Finish
      83 83
      Water melon, and milk nuggets.

  6. DramGoodLife scored this whisky 85 points Expert Senior

    • Nose
Grassy, zesty and salty. Salted lemongrass with some touches of pepper powder. With air the nose balances a little, the sharp saltiness levels out and honey sweetness comes in.
    • Taste
Watery on arrival, salted lemons with pepper making a powerful appearance. Holding on the palate the saltiness starts to reveal some sweetness. Lemon sherbet humbugs. Sweet honey finishes off the palate.
    • Finish
Long finish. Tannins and sour oak making an appearance. As the finish continues it transforms to some sweet honey.

  10. Bishlouk scored this whisky 86 points Connoisseur

A classic Speysider, balanced, and pleasant. It develops well with aeration. Not really anything else to add, actually.
    • Nose
Fresh and fruity. Small white apple blossoms, yellow melon, pear, peach and juicy apricot. A minty tip in the background. A generous nose.
    • Taste
Yellow and white stewed fruits. Slightly astringent fruit peel. Sour apple Tingling due to alcohol when you leave a sip in the mouth for a while.
    • Finish
Average. The astringent fruit peel dominates. A slight pungency persists on the tip of the tongue.
