- The official tasting notes on the certificate say:
"On initial nosing, rich fruited aromas are apparent, hinting at its Sherry cask maturation. These aromas warm to reveal ginger, cloves, sweet malt and honey. The chewy and creamy body leads to a mouth-coatingly rich palate, replete with dried orange peel, honey-coated malt and a late oceanic quality. The lingering finish reveals sweetly peated smoke, alongside more orange and ginger notes!"
- This is one of the best whiskies I've tasted, is so complex and so many flavors, and the nose is just fantastic.
It's smells old, in a good way. Sweet and a hint of smoke. Dried fruits and a nice oaky aroma.
Very smooth, but full of flavors. Very oaky, nutty and fruity at the same time.
Long and dry, very good.
