So in the transition from taste to departure, I find him a bit short metallic, overall, but I like it quite well, 84 points he has earned honestly, for 85 is missing a small bite ... He is very diverse and really amazingly complex for his age, that is rewarded! related to the price: Buh, almost seventy? Borderline ...
Notes come from an online chat tasting
    • Nose
Definitely pear, now and then a torrent caramel, in between every now and then a dung-like Gammelnote, very restrained alcohol, later it's spicier and saltier, definitely maritime. Warms up the muffle more stronger, then something perfume-like floral. The lemon is with me rather lime sorbet or something, somehow does not smell real, there is the Zest. Now very tasty.
    • Taste
get some water ... ... where, he does not need it. It is delicious, I leave that with the water. In the taste clearly tart notes, but quite pleasant. Still very gentle alcohol. Has something of a herbal bitter with clearly caramel notes. I honestly find no fruit anymore.
    • Finish
The finish is again a fruity sweetness, which taps pleasantly with the bitterness around the tongue. He is not too long, but how can he? Fits! Throw in: the bitterness is like dry chocolate powder with me ..? Jo, fits. Or. Cocoa like grandma always did. :-) Yes, the sea was only in the aroma, because I find nothing more of. Also no salt. I still have biscuit in my mouth, surprisingly long now ...

  5. Marko_I did not rate this whisky Connoisseur

Young & decent Bourbon keg is my prey scheme and fits here again well, who can do something. Would be nice if you could buy something for 40-50 € ...
    • Nose
strong cereal notes, a little roasted, biscuit, vanilla, slightly pungent without water, with water a nice salty freshness, some citrus and a very slight medicinal note, more water & time -> fruity (pear, exotic notes)
    • Taste
sweet, warming and surprisingly "dark" for bourbon keg, butter biscuits (lightly burnt), nougat, some pepper
    • Finish
medium length, nougat, spicy sharpness, light vegetal bitter note

    good performance from Pulteney

    • Nose
sweetish light fruit, such as pear, honeydew melon, sweet popcorn, dusty cornfield, barley sweetness, something smoky absolutely no alcohol, great for only 7 years
    • Taste
in the mouth you can feel the 61.1% right after the start wow that glows in the mouth and that without being schnapps sweet barley with melon sauce and malt slightly burnt caramel Chocolate powder on the palate ripe bright fruits dry on the palate the aromas decrease
    • Finish
At first one thinks the departure does not exist

but then he comes with yellow melon sweet barley, chocolate powder an interesting taste that can be difficult to describe medium long
