Whisky Reviews for Bruichladdich 15-year-old

- The 10y old in those days was quite allright, however the 15y old was slightly dissapointing. As they say age does never mean it`s better then its younger brother. Bruichladdich does deserve better that these versions. I guess that a lot of Bruichladdich fans are happy when Murray McDavid took over and let Jim McEwan to do the rest!!
- Certainly a good drop, but somehow not quite convincing. A bit flat with no complexity. More or less boring to drink.
Nose gives the sense of smoothness, something distinguishing, sweet and fresh with hints of flowers, sourness and spirit. The nose is nice, but definitely to weak.
It´s soft with hints of pistachio, honey, apricot, smoke and no peat at all.
Short, flat and semidry. Not that interesting.
