Color: golden yellow
Nose: A successful mix of ripe, cooked fruits such as yellow apple, orange, papaya and some fruit gum. Aromas of leather, toffee, salty spices and heavy smoke, which are covered with lots of honey.
Taste: Thin and soft, starting with sweet honey notes, which, however, quickly counteract fresh and spicy mint flavors. The taste becomes unbalanced and a bit confusing. Then quite tart garden herbs are added, which dominate the taste in combination with heavy, peaty smoke. To the finish becoming increasingly bitter, but without striking wood shares.
Finish: Medium to long - quite bitter based on fennel and too long drawn herbal tea. With dry smokes and some ash / soot decaying.
Note: This combination of sweetness, fresh pungency and bitter herb rail does not match our feelings - but: great nose!
