Again a successful experiment by Laddie, very noble and interesting
    • Nose
Apples, white grapes, pears, apricots, cinnamon with a little honey and gentle spice in the background
    • Taste
Only the maritime of Laddie, quite salty, then come all the great fruits, pear, apple, honey, vanilla, cinnamon, the longer in the mouth the more white wine
    • Finish
Dry and long, a little green tea and honey, but also acidity of white wine

There were two batches for this bottling.

The first was 1 of 700 then the 1 of 12 000 was marketed a year later.

The people at Bruichladdich confirmed the information and added that the first bottling was mostly recalled due to various reasons.

    Bruichladdich 16y 1992 The Sixteens - Cuvée E ', 46%, OB 2008 First Growth, Sauternes finish, 12000 bottles
The nose starts granitely and grassy, then fruit comes through. Strawberries and apples. On the taste immediately quite some fruit, for the rest rather dry. Slightly dusty with water. The winner for the group, but nonetheless no great whisky. 81/100 http://onversneden.com/2011/10/20/fulldram-halloween-tasting/

  6. markjedi1 scored this whisky 84 points Connoisseur

    Pleasant enough,
    without being great.
    • Nose
      I am immediately
treated to apples and pears, but also apricots and green banana, on this very
sweet nose. Furthermore some great hints of coconut, mandarin and honey. Soft
spices, led by cinnamon. After a few moments, some sweet and sour apples are
      dominating. Fresh and stimulating.
    • Taste
      It is very, very soft
on the palate. Quite waxy. The coastal elements are present (hints of smoke,
sweet peat and a midly salty edge), but the sweetness easily wins. Honey,
cinnamon, touch of vanilla but mostly baskets full of little apples.
    • Finish
      In the long, drying
finish I get some green tea and a bit of pepper.

  7. Lafroy scored this whisky 78 points Expert Senior

    • Nose
A lot of sweetness, light notes of sherry, a lot of bourbon notes, a little bit of phenols, some mint. The sweetness seems very artificial.
    • Taste
Hints of rum, a lot of weird sweetness, easy dryness, sweet smoke, fruit candies, hints of pepper and herbal spices.
    • Finish
Short, light pepper, hints of salt, fruit drops and a little bit of dryness.
