- A nice malt, but the price was clearly too high!
[Color] dark bronze;
sweet, pickled cherries, nut, oak;
oily body, spicy voluminous onset, cherries, honey, spice (ginger, oak), complex;
medium length, fruity finish; peppery finish
Sweet but also a little spicy. It gives you a good idea of what you are about to taste.
a sweet taste of honey with a little spiciness from the pepper
the spiciness from the pepper makes it a great experience, because you have the contrast from both worlds- Sweet and spicy at the same time.

brown sugar, forest fruits, wood tones, vanilla, raisins, blueberries
pear, cherries, caramel, pepper, brown sugar, plum, wood tones, green apple
- Very different from the standard Glendronach fair. However, I did find it a little bitter on the end. It’s also very pricey for what it is.
Tasted at a Malt Mongers Israel Evening

Butterscotch. Ozone. Yellow cherry. Hay. Toffee. So much toffee. Flowers. Coconut. Light spices.
Orange. Leather. Bitter wood. Woodspice. Those cheap pink chewy sweets.
Long. Spicy. Fruity. Bitter.
- Glendronach Marsala 18yo. 46% Vol. European Oak Casks + Marsala Hogshead Finish Bottled 10.11.2014
Color: bright amber Nose: Wow nice round sweet. Fresh firm plum, great citrus notes, herbs and grass. Has something of summer meadow and the associated honey. Hiding a little ginger. Red fruits like raspberries. Very complex, great! Palate: on the tongue again a great berry sweet. Then the tannins take over the command. It tastes like more. Cotton candy. Resonance: Grassy notes resonate with berries and a light summer honey for a while in the mouth. Beautiful medium-long finish Conclusion: really a great dram. Wonderfully multifaceted without being intrusive. Unfortunately for a long time out of print and only through auctions or private sales.
