  2. lincolnimp scored this whisky 82 points Connoisseur

This is actually for a 1963 bottle but this was the nearest I could find,

I liked it but could not drink a lot of it, very different to Scotch.
    • Nose
Very pleasant on waffles and syrup, it smells very sweet like an old liqueur. There are definite maple syrup notes but then again it is Canadian.
    • Taste
Very simple profile and again it is sweet. It is like liquid sweet biscuit.

It is fruity and very creamy and syrupy. There are definite toffee notes mixed in with sweet rhubarb (if that's possible)
    • Finish
Not too long with a sweet finish
