Simple, sweet, grainy, hint of spice and red fruit. Mainly grain sweet
Sweet, quite flat. Just a grain sweetness, some suger, hint of caramel.
Not much, quite thin
short-medium length. Sweet and doesn't develop so much.
Fair for it's quality
Sober and decent
I like these folks. They are really nice people. Their whiskey is very potent. This is a pretty much grain version of their early whiskey. I think we need to wait a little longer.
If you have a chance, you should go by, it's only 45min. from Dublin.
- All simple, flat. Too light, nothing.
(I had a rotten drink and a whiskey too cold, to make things worse)
- distilled in a Coffey still (like whiskey, another great Irish
invention!) from a mash bill of Irish malted barley and corn. It spends
three and a half years in American oak first-fill Bourbon barrels before
being finished for six months in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks.
i believe 90% corn and 10% malted barley
- actually cooley corn whiskey
