Whisky Reviews for Mortlach 07-year-old LMDW

A dram that I would have taken a long time to "appreciate". To say I finished the bottle at the moment, and have been very reluctant to make this note. Aeration really did him good. At first, it was nettle juice and lavender pretty atrocious. In the end the nose is rather pleasant. Good proportionally kept, it is not worth more than its price (~ 50 €). A whisky of thirst.
    • Nose
Light, cereals and vanilla. Honey. A little cornflakes. A plant side white flower slightly sweet. A bit of minerality, can be brought on a slightly watery side. Apple and a little pear skin. It's not super expressive all the same and the cereal side crushes a little too much the rest. But it has at least the merit of speaking a little.
    • Taste
It's rather watery. A big grass and vegetable side. Cut hay. A bit of lemon. Barley. It's poor.
    • Finish
In the continuity of the mouth with a small sweet rise on the honey.
