- Simple standard whisky that is a bit thin and in no way particularly noticeable
Cheese, spicy sherry flavors, sugary sweetness
Rather watery thin, hints of sherry aromas but really only slight hints, a bit of 5 spices
Short but not uncomfortable, light perfume finish or a bit soapy
- Starter at the Sherry Bomb Tasting. Yes, that's great. Especially in the PlV.
Fresh wood and sherry influence me church, very pleasant but a bit spicy.
Odor continues but watery. Is a good starter. Very malty and a bit herbaceous and vanilla-like
Pepper gets through. Departure is ok.
Very deep and rich, sherry, funky. Dark chocolate, sour cherry, cheesy, damp, musty and dry
Sweet and creamy, chocolate, toffee
Sherry, Raisin, Oak, Dark Fruits
Wood, Fruity, Sherried, Chocolate
Vanilla and Sherry
This is AMAZING value for what you get.
- Aroma: open, sweet dried fruits: raisins, dates, figs, apples and pears, with the addition of a sweet-sour berry note - dried wild berries. In the background there are malt-grain notes, - dry grain, oatmeal with milk, rye bread.
Taste: sweet and spicy, the same dried fruits as in the aroma, where dark raisins prevail and prunes are added, bright spices for mulled wine, burnt currant jam, Borodino bread crust.
Finish: slightly shorter than the average, dark raisins, prunes, some spices, ends with dark chocolate.
The result: saturated for 40% with an emphasis in 10 years old sherry barrels, the younger brother of Caledonia, is slightly inferior to it, but it is made in the same style. For 10 years and 40% - just a great result!
typical sherry notes. Sweetness through caramel and vanilla.
minimal sulfur notes.
very creamy and oily. stimulates salivation. Main sweet notes of toffee and again vanilla. Every now and then light spicy notes flash through. With very long chewing also a slight sharpness in the form of pepper comes through.
very flat and soft. a short time later light spicy notes come through again. Ends for me in a milk coffee.
