    - JUL means Christmas in Swedish, Norwegian or Danish => that also fits fruity with pleasant spices
    - interesting barrel combination
    - unfortunately not as extremely aromatic as usual for Glen Els
    • Nose
for a Glen Els rather surprisingly subtle, fruity, berries, white chocolate, citrus, lime
    • Taste
oW: very fruity, slightly tart / bitter at the end, has these "fruit notes" typical of Glen Els, raisins, berries, fruit sweetness, spices shortly before swallowing, but all in all very subtly present
    • Finish
      short fruity finish;
      short fruity aftertaste

Delicious Glen Els - by the wine influences sometimes something other than sweet. Christmas!
    • Nose
typical Glen Els nose, fruity sweet - but here clear notes of wine. settles like dry red wine on the mucous membranes
    • Taste
Oak, sweet, spices, sherry, dark chocolate and dark heavy fruits
    • Finish
long, spicy, slightly bitterness - but not unpleasant

A nice Christmas whisky. The nose, the taste and the finish harmonize perfectly. An unusual sweetness and spiciness dominates the whole enjoyment. Wonderful!
    • Nose
Heavy dark fruits with a splash of orange flow through the glass. Spices such as cloves are added. A voluminous, heavy fragrance dominates. Sweetness, a hint of vanilla and malt are playing together. Now a fine aroma of roasted apple comes to light.
    • Taste
Strong and intense sherry. Dark fruits mix with pleasant wood notes. Whole milk and thin espresso blend together to create a creamy taste. A fine spice is created, this could come from a freshly baked gingerbread. A fine nut flavor completes this unusual aroma. The taste is dominated by a wonderful sweetness.
    • Finish
Again, this sweet, fruity wood aroma. The finish exudes a chubby mouthfeel for a long time. Fruit and spice play together again. A touch of freshly ground coffee mixes with chocolate. Some nut remains in the mouth.

Very tasty and unusually sweet for whisky. Tastes good to me.
    • Nose
Carnation peppered with orange, Christmas market, gingerbread. Later milk chocolate and apple.
    • Taste
The nose on the tongue! Sweet orange, gingerbread with chocolate coating. Subtle kirsch, tart chocolate.
    • Finish
Medium long, very sweet. Especially the gingerbread is stuck. From the side of the tongue it stays slightly bitter.

It is hard on the border to the liqueur, I feel the sweetness but not as unpleasant, on the contrary, since there are enough counterpoints, the whole thing still looks very balanced. He's really fun!
    • Nose
Christmas feeling, a whole spice cupboard meets you. A Salaminote is the prelude to fruity sweet fragrances. Dark and heavy he lies in the glass. Sweet chocolate, dark, ripe fruits and a hint of mulled wine complete it. After some time he gets a little fresher, now comes the yellow fruits, peaches and apples. Cake dough, malt and cloves are good. Heated, he goes back to the spicy side, the sherry is more prominent, some lavender comes up, as cherry juice.
    • Taste
Very interesting, the impressions of the nose continue, but now come on also distinctly tart aromas, coffee chocolate and cocoa powder, for example, and some cough syrup. The sweetness dominates but absolutely! The alcohol is well integrated.
    • Finish
The finish is actually only sweet and medium, very gentle bitterness still resonates and sounds slow.

An experiment that turned out really well, but let's not get carried away too much with all those 90+ scores. 88/89 for me. Definitely not better than the cheaper Four Seasons 2014.
    • Nose
Toffee, dark cherry, clove and smoke.
    • Taste
Toffee, mocha, dark cherry, clove, pepper and cinnamon. With water also apple.
    • Finish
Dark chocolate, toffee, cherry and apple.

    Color: amber

Nose: a little smoke But also wine barrel ... peach. Vanilla full. Oak, chocolate, slightly musty, wild mushrooms and raspberries and something reminds me of the spice souk in Dubai.

Mouth: A dream and exactly my thing. Light pleasant smoke. Sherry notes, walnut, caramel, moss, salt, a little peppery, espresso

Finish: Medium long. Slightly dry. Nice and warm

Conclusion: Blind, I might have typed on a BenRiach the "Heavily Peated" collection.

A little "un-whiskyish" at first but really great finish.
