Peat smoke, citrus, honey, spicy
Peat smoke, spicy, rubbery, chocolate
Medium long, smoky, cocoa
- Aroma: roasted nuts, oriental spices, black tea, cinnamon, bit of leather and orange liqueur. Iinteresting, let’s say oriental style. With water I get more farmy notes, damp earth and smoked bacon.
Palate: burnt wood and leather, black tea. Needs water. With water sweet smoked ham is very present with notes of spiced herbs and ashes. Finish: dry, spicy with trace of ash, black tea and cinnamon.
Comment: interesting, oriental, as I said. WIth water it's really pleasant. Changing, not boring. Worth attention. And a nice proof, that young malt can be really nice (jusst my experience shows, smoke helps a lot here). India has to offer interesting malts, for sure!
