you will recognize many orange notes in the smell in the taste in the after taste , but its also a verry complex whisky with many flavour profiles ,its a verry good whisky 87/100
    • Nose

oak together with  orange zest  in the background if you add a few drops of water lemon and some nuttiness appears the orange notes are much brighter now

where is all the fruityness ?  oak, cholcolate ,pepper  , a hint of orange
    • Finish
verry long finish i like it a lot but its a verry nutty taste at first that evolves into some sweet dark chocolate , with some orange notes

Mostly citrusy, malty, vanilla and probably some apricots?

Simple but drinkable - may qualify as daily dram

It's very honest, maybe a little expensive for what it is.

Honey, Malt, Oak, Applejuice, original 16 yr is 2-3 point at higher as it is less oak/spice forward and more balanced.

Solid malt. Nice to drink. He does not hurt now, but does not knock you off his feet either. However, I do not need a bottle of it.

Pleasant drinkable malt, though the old 15yo OB was better, and the price is slowly going to crazy.

Caramelized apple, honey, earth, citruses and spicy oak.
    • Taste
Dry oak, ripe fruits, pepper, orange peel and cocoa.

  10. Alex Fridays scored this whisky 88 points Expert Senior

It’s starts with notes of caramel, oak, sweet fruits, spices, cake, floral, grass and fruit garden on nose. The palate is sweet with notes of fruits, barberry, cream, red apples, spices and flowers. The finish is middle, sweet and spicy with notes of vanilla, barberry and grass. It’s a very good, sweet and smooth whisky.
