Nose: Cedar wood, oak cabinet, caramel, soapy sweetness with orange flavor, lemon zest, cereal, the grain is already evident with its sweetness, cereals and bitter oak to taste. Nice old thing but the grain is a bit too loud for my taste in the aroma picture.
Taste: soft onset, light floral sweetness, then comes tingling slightly peppery oak, a lot of bitterness in the finish even increases. Slightly thickened orange juice and tobacco but in the long finish remains mainly only bitter oak. Yes, you will notice the barrels used several times. Lots of wood and bitterness - in itself not necessarily something bad but nothing for every day and too few other "good" flavors for this price range. Conclusion: A good blend but just overpriced. Since you are better off in JW in the price range.
