A sweet dram. Better on the nose than on the palate, but good drinkable.
    • Nose
Fruity and sweet. Green apple, honey, oranges, red fruits. Macallan-typical creme brûllée flavor. Caramel and gentle oak behind. Maybe a bit of smoke.
    • Taste
First of all, caramel and orange, then powerful oak flavors, dark chocolate, a little sherry.
    • Finish
Medium with oak, dark chocolate, sherry fruit.

N- An old timer blends that are always reliable and simple to enjoy. Nutty and oily with toffee and caramel, floral and meadow, honey and dark fruits. Pleasant sweetness of canned fruits, peaches dressed with zings of copper, soft rattan and spice jar.

P- Char with hints of full toasted smokes with chocolaty coated honey candy, maltose. No roller coaster here, direct and straightforward with charming sweet.

F- Medium-long, sailing well with lasting peppery notes, full and fat mouthfeel. — at The Whisky Bar, Kuala Lumpur.

Who are you piss-cold band who put 73/100 to this dram? I just tasted this one after a Longmorn 1964. Well guess what: I liked this Famous Grouse! For what it is. A simple malt, greedy and accessible. Enthusiasm 4/5 Whiskey n ° 1276
    • Nose
      Malt flour, sweetness.
    • Taste
Very sweet, no spices. But not watery, like its blend equivalent. Malt gives the necessary structure and gives immediate pleasure.
    • Finish
Easy final, a taste of "come back"

A lovely dram, perhaps a dash more highland Park would be nice.
    • Nose
Light sweetness and gentle on the nose combined with toffee and vanilla, some dried fruit, apples, peaches, some chocolate, some maltiness and some citrus fruits, nice aroma structure.
    • Taste
Soft, creamy, chocolate and fruits, a subtile drynes and other nice flavors.
    • Finish
Short burst wich lingers on with a spicy sweetness.

    Golden to the eye;

Soft, mellow and oaky citrus on the nose -

The palate gets its reward too. Silky-soft with soft fruits and well-balanced oak,

The finish is long and rewarding.
