- Long with pepper and grapefruit
Spring blossom, marzipan, vanilla, lots of tropical fruit.
Spicy, alcohol, ginger, lots of citrus.
Lang met peper en grapefruit
- Littlemill can be so
beautiful. Around 140 EUR.
A magnificent bit of
woodsmoke precedes potpourri and almonds paste. It is not as sweet as I had
expected. But you have to be patient. After a few moments, I get a waxy nose
full of ginger, vanilla and cinnamon, some Seville oranges and then the honey,
sugared lime peel and passion fruit kicks in. Mandarin and even some mango join
the fray. Yes, it turns quite tropical.
It has a light body,
succulent and spicy. The tropical fruit returns, but it is mostly citrus
(oranges, lime and now some grapefruit as well) that leads. Liquorice, ginger
and a nice zestiness. Yup, this is top class.
finish on citrus and spices.
