This blend however is exactly what it is - a light blend. Okay as a blend for a price tag of around 16 Euro, but I spare my liver cells for more delicate stuff...
-
Its colour is pale gold and the texture shows fast thin legs and many small tears. The nose is light and fruity-sweet, quite okay for such a blend.
-
The taste is light and slightly bitter (heavy tannins, probably another victim to virgin oak casks), I do not like that and even a blend can do better on that dimension.
-
It arrives with a warming and slightly peppery feeling, and no coating at all (what of course cannot be expected for this price). But at least the finish shows some nice flavours of chocolate and barley sweetness.
