    Nose - Lovely caramel, honey

Palate - The caramel and honey aren’t as strong, but are joined with nice floral and grassy notes

    Finish - Light Wood, Fruity

Less successful Cragganmore. The 12-year-old is simply much more complex.

Conclusion: 88/100 points - "nice daily dram". The Cragganmore Destillers Edition is a delicious, fruity-tasty Daily Dram. He is fun in the glass and is uncomplicated, but also not very complex. Link to the tasting on my blog: http://www.tasting-notes.de/Archive/170
    • Nose
Very fruity aromas of peach, mango and banana. Malty sweetness and a lot of cereals. He needs some air and time to develop his fruitiness.
    • Taste
Unexpectedly strong start. Could you on min. 46% appreciate. Again, a lot of fruit and a nice subtle sweetness. With water hardly anything changes. A very tasty whisky.
    • Finish
A medium-long, grainy finish. Hardly sweet, but still with noticeable fruit of peach and a little mango.
