- with water: he definitely doesn't need it
Conclusion: I can not believe that I have a 14 year old whisky with 40% in the glass, it has so much more power and complexity. Great, a real experience, the smoke impact should also be emphasized here, although this could also come from the wood.
wow, that's old sherry school, rum raisins, caramel, toffee, leather, old wood, maraschino cherry, rose hip, sweetened apple, polish, clove and cardamom, subtle wax notes (OBF)
clear sherry flavor, but also surprisingly smoky, like a smoldering campfire, lots of spices
actually only medium length, sherry, oak and a few spices, chocolate and some smoke here too, but then some aromas remain in the throat for several minutes, after some time grapefruit notes appear on the palate
- Anyway, it's a few years older than he is, nice sherry whisky, a bit too dry to get more, yet great stuff for old age.
Rumrosines, full caramel, sweet, moist leather, cardamom, camphor, juicy plum, nutmeg, cinnamon and lightly burnt butter
Nutmeg, rum-raisins, black pepper, drier than in the nose, also slightly bitter oak in between, the moist leather, dark chocolate, nuts, walnut, hazelnut, aniseed, fennel, burnt butter
Walnut, leather, chocolate chips, medium-long, leather, warming
