Sans sulphur, this would've been quite the treat.
    • Nose
Ooph! Quite the sherry bomb, wouldn't surprise me if this is Pedro Ximénez matured. Definitively some gun powder and copper coins. It has a surprising floral layer, but also forest fruit jam and cinnamon, as well as cloves and some 99 percent cacao chocolate. Intense, although it calms down after a little while. Somewhat meaty too.
    • Taste
Bold and extreme-ish. A tad dry. Plums, cocoa powder, and certainly a whiff of gun powder again. Slightly sweet, a good amount of menthol too. Quite funky, this.
    • Finish
Maraschino cherries and dark chocolate. Long.

F: oiled alder N: sherry, dried fruit, some sulfur, feinty? Leather? typical oblique Inchgower note. G: light body, taste like above, bitter sherry A: long, as above, slightly alcoholic, + H2O: is nice and round, the oblique note remains.

Guaranteed not for everyone, but in my opinion typical for many Inchgower from the beginning of the eighties. I like it.

    Too much sherry for me.
    • Nose
Full sherry, some raisins and chocolate.
    • Taste
The sherry comes first, later on some dried fruits (the raisins again) and maybe some bananas? Also some hints of chocolate and mind.
    • Finish
Warm, but not long. Lots of sherrynotes.
