Whisky Reviews for Juveniles NAS CB

  1. ColdAesthetics scored this whisky 86 points Connoisseur

A drinkable and even quite interesting dram, has some exciting single notes between the "known" stuff and is quite round.
    • Nose
Esthernoten, a lot of vanilla, pickled peach, yellow plum, mango, sugar, tequila, papaya, fresh and tropical, a bit grassy
    • Taste
Lemon, grapefruit, pepper, clove, nutmeg, chilli, lavender, tannins, nice, fresh malt, light honey, green apple
    • Finish
Dry and malty, rather only medium in length, apple peel and then a little sweetness to the rear

  2. Owidram did not rate this whisky Expert Senior

    Easy drinking yet interesting.

ideal for starting a tasting. Aperitive.

Freshly cut grass, like it was a lowland, it also has some more rounded characteristics, with nice yellow fruits. A bit of fat. Stony, and i had like a a very light peat note, or maybe these were spices.

Not complex and finish is short, but it's very quaffable. Interesting dram.

  3. markjedi1 scored this whisky 80 points Connoisseur

    Very
quaffable, sure, but I do not feel like I have tried a whisky. More a liqueur,
so sweet and syrupy. Pisang Ambon Whisky?
    • Nose
      It is sweet,
but more candy like than fruity. Sugared peach candy and sour treats. Some
Turkish Delight, pineapple, banana and loads of vanilla. Yep, the nose makes me
feel like I am standing in a candy shop, but little else is going on.
    • Taste
      It has a
medium body and is immediately syrupy sweet. Again that candy like quality.
Banana is now more outspoken. I have to admit that I am not too fond of this.
    • Finish
      The finish
is medium long and remains sticky sweet.

  4. Jean-Brice scored this whisky 84 points Expert Senior

Little complex but pleasure immeditated and easily drinkable
    • Nose
      Harlequin candy, tangy, peach
    • Taste
      Fruity, fluid
    • Finish
      Average
