Round Speysider with beautiful fruit, easy-to-drink - unfortunately a bit weak on the chest
    • Nose
Vanilla pudding, Crema Catalana, ripe banana, green tea with herbs, honey
    • Taste
Bitter orange, fruity but dry, again the banana, herbal honey candies, vanilla - mild on the tongue
    • Finish
Mild and creamy, fruity, slightly bitter in the aftermath

blind tasting Tip: I think I'm quite old (20 years old). Tasty but not enough power. I type in about 43%. Vll a single grain whisky? Overall, very good, 87 points
    • Nose
Semolina pudding, cinnamon, very sweet, rape ?, hike in the mountain forest in spring
    • Taste
Sweet again, somewhat woody through the barrel (think older) many spices (vanilla, clove, cinnamon) almost Christmassy. For me, unfortunately, something soft. He grabs my mouth but something is missing. The start is great, nice spices. And then one hopes for an explosion in the mouth, but unfortunately it stays out ... very pleasing with beautiful aromas but without edges.
    • Finish
nice and warm, to be sprayed medium-long without bitterness

  5. sagara-kun scored this whisky 81 points Connoisseur

Nose rather nice but does not tell much in the mouth, and even ends up rather badly.
    • Nose
Alcoholous nose. Attack on wax, very sweet lemon, almost chemical Slightly mineral. Vegetal. Grass, straw, thyme.
    • Taste
Much less aggressive than the nose. Dominant plant again. Grass and honey. Some fruits, mainly citrus, lemon and orange. Do not tell a lot.
    • Finish
Bitter finish on the plant. Not the most pleasant.

    Blindverkostung Tolle interesting nase. Lecker!
    • Nose
sweet, apple, pears, bananas, sugar, nuts, vanilla, cereals, malt
    • Taste
full and sweet, spices, coffee, cocoa, oak
    • Finish
      medium long, fruity, spicy, sweet

Tip: Even if he does not have the highest complexity, I like the character quite well 85 P.

    - Highlands
    - 46 to 50%
    - 12 to 18 years
    • Nose
very clear applesauce with cinnamon and sugar, light acid, but superimposed by dry sweetness, Indian spice mixture, cereal with grapes, diluted sunflower oil, moist branches comes
    • Taste
sweet and mild-spicy, some roasted aromas, yet not light in the mouth
    • Finish
nice and long, pleasantly relaxing with a good dose of tannins, milk chocolate

A very idiosyncratic drop. The nose is great and interesting, with the taste and the finish I can not do anything. Indefinable aromas confuse me, but the malt is somehow delicious in its own way.
    • Nose
Blind tasting: Immediately there are fruity elements and sweetness. Subtle maltiness and a hint of vanilla mingle, apples and a hint of pears come to my mind. The sweetness becomes more dominant, the fruit retreats and light caramel comes out.
    • Taste
The first impression is restrained, then suddenly indefinable wood flavors come to light. Light spirits and peculiar spice follow, again the taste is quite flat, then suddenly again spice and bitter or tart aromas.
    • Finish
Herb and subtly bitter the finish begins. Slight sharpness is on the tongue while the tart wood aromas exude a peculiar warmth.

  9. Kantenmechaniker scored this whisky 79 points Connoisseur

I do not like floral whiskys in general. Add to that the alcoholic notes in the mouth and the tart finish. Overall not so mine.
    • Nose
very floral, grass and herbs, but also floury banana, oak, woody, moist tobacco, honey, vanilla, malt, if you have the banana, you will not get rid of them, all in all very fresh, you notice the alcohol in the nose
    • Taste
again very floral, hayloft, grass, rather grassy than herbal, sweet honey, oak, malt, a lot of vanilla, but alcoholic, looks quite young for its ten years, no banana, if fruit then more so pear
    • Finish
dry, almost bitter, tart, slightly nutty, apple seeds and peel, the mouth is really dry
