Interesting, but too little Littlemill character ...
The sherry dominates me too much
    • Nose
      86 86
In the nose, I still find the typical fruity notes of the Littlemill Distillery, followed by light sherry notes ...
    • Taste
      87 87
Fresh pineapple and orange flashing and are killed directly by tobacco, without becoming too bitter ...
    • Finish
      83 83
Unfortunately, only the leather note remains for me

Very good. The only complaint is about astringency in the mouth. It is reduced happily during the tasting.
    • Nose
Sherry nose very well integrated. In bulk: leather, dark chocolate, blackberry, cherry, blueberry, grapes, hazelnuts, cinnamon. A bit of rancio. From kirsch. A very light touch of earth. It's very nice.
    • Taste
We stay in the same sherry line with more astringency. No more caffé, very dark chocolate and cocoa powder. Rancio much more pronounced than nose. Marc's. Earth and leather are more pronounced too. A hint of caramel and always hazelnuts and cinnamon.
    • Finish
The finish is long on leather, fruit and cinnamon. The chocolate powder remains.

These days (late 2014) the Littlemills are almost always released on bourbon casks. This sherry finish works well for me
    • Nose
Nuts and chocolate. Smooth nose, but not thin at all. Hazel and walnut. Cacao and coffee beans. Oranges and some lime. A whiff of cardboard.
    • Taste
Again room at first for the dry walnut and cacao. Not to bitter and balanced by the oranges, peach  and mandarin. Some newspapers. Leather and cinnamon biscuits.
    • Finish
Spicy oak and herbal tea with cookies. Long, warm and just mouth coating.
