    A simple, straight-forward Bowmore.
    • Nose
Sweet lime, orange, malt, peat, limestone and tea.
    • Taste
Peat, orange and pepper. With water more citrus.
    • Finish
      Peat, orange, citrus and malt.

This is a good young Bowmore, clean, fresh with crisp peat. The profile is simple but it works.
    • Nose
Grapefruit, lemon, white wine, Turkish Delight, paint, turps.
    • Taste
The grapefruit and lemon is evident but there is also some chalkiness, peat is restrained at first and then mixes nicely with the fruit. Towards the end I get a little sour fruit and a little smoked cheese.
    • Finish
Long on crisp peat, slight honey and lemon notes.

    Nice nose, even
better palate, but what a finish. You can add him to your cabinet for 85 EUR.
    • Nose
      Very tight and narrow
nose (if you know what I mean) holding the middle between sweet and salty.
Loads of maritime elements, olive sap, very delicate peat. Upholstered with
sugared grapefruit skins and some pear syrup. Soft vanilla. Loads of chalk.
      Stockfish? Nice!
    • Taste
      Good mouthfeel –
almost waxy – with exactly the same elements as the nose, but the maritime side
easily overcomes the sweet fruit now. Sea salt, soot and oyster sap, sprinkled
with grapefruit. Midplate it becomes quite dry.
    • Finish
      There is a little
more smoke and pepper in the mildly drying finish. At the death, a sweet
      uppercut is delivered.

Well, that complex Bowmore! End, not nagging. Very good surprise, it is older than its real age. Seducing, for me who am not a fan of this distillery in general.
    • Nose
No big peat bourrine, here it is fine and subtle. Amazing for a young Bowmore. Vanilla, sweet smoke, white fruit syrup, a few drops of fresh citrus. After aeration, mineral notes that remind me of limestone.
    • Taste
She is, like the nose, sweet; which is quite logical considering the low enough. Citrus fruits, sea salt, cold ashes. A powdery dryness (Talcum? Chalk?) Appears.
    • Finish
The powdery dryness remains a moment in the mouth. Pepper smoke. The acid citrus fruits are not left behind.
