A house whisky from us. Therefore difficult to evaluate neutrally here. The nose is the most controversial part of this bottle. But the rest is of a high standard for everyone. It is not for nothing that it is very popular with Ralfy. 91/100 ... just saying!
    • Nose
It starts very dark with an enormous amount of sherry. But you immediately get the feeling that something doesn't fit. With everything like berries, mint, chocolate etc. he always makes a little detour into a strange note. Explanation attempt: "A tobacco soaked in strong alcohol packed in an old leather pouch." But somehow I like that;)
    • Taste
For me this is the best part. Sherry takes precedence over whisky spirit. He hits the nuts, chocolate and toffee rails full pipe. Sweetly woody and with a variety of dried fruits, it brings a taste bud experience that goes well beyond 15 years. Respect. This bottle is dangerously delicious! A masterpiece.
    • Finish
Clearly long. Thereby it becomes again briefly spicy and fruity, sweet and woody. At the end he leaves the stage with a nutty long warming farewell song. Pouring again is the order of the day. But it is not a dram for every evening! Very special. At the end I have apple pie with cinnamon.

Tannin, tannin, tannin, and collapsed, I always feel that edradour has the potential to become springbank, but why is springbank so powerful, because each model is different, there is no bad taste, and edradour, bad taste Quite a lot.
    • Nose
Egg white, soy fat, oak, raisins
    • Taste
Spicy, wood chips, high tannin, sour, okara, fat, protein

An exceptional filling with strong and exciting aromas - no ordinary sherry whisky. The mushroom aroma in combination with the slightly soapy touch are a little too personal to me personally.
    • Nose
      83 83
Plum compote, sweet sherry, rice pudding, spices, a clear mushroom note, a bit soapy
with water: leather, forest honey, wax, dried fruit replaces the compote; Over time, juicy orange comes along
    • Taste
      84 84
Full-bodied, the alcohol makes for a strong start, clear Sherrynoten, less sweet than expected, significantly bitter, espresso and walnut
    • Finish
      84 84
The finish is medium long and quite dry. It dominate dark oak tones and the espresso. In addition comes the mushroom note as well as some orange peel.

I added some water immediately. Do the whisky well! nose Plum roaster and subtle leather; a little later, a hazelnut is added. Over time, the hazelnut gets stronger. Even later, the citrus notes become stronger (juice oranges). The leathery notes may be more present without water. taste Full and intense on the tongue. The plum roaster and the hazelnuts are immediately present. The hazelnuts together with the chocolatey notes immediately turn into a good hazelnut cream. Later it's more in the direction of apricot dumplings.
leaving Long and slightly rockier; the hazelnuts and plum flavors have come to stay. At the very end it turns red and meaty. Add to that a floral touch. Maybe some lavender and along with something meaty. Pork medaillion in a lavender crust. That could come ... Very fine whisky. The aromas are very exciting and it develops great in the glass. What more do you want.
