    • Nose
Fruity, warm, generous, we have poached pear, the other fruits play hide and seek behind wooden planks.
With water, we have vegetal notes, even straw that evoke a little Littlemill. Walk in the orchard.
The whole lack of explosiveness, however, on the other hand.
    • Taste
Sweet, round and oily fruity, lack of spices. The rum cask plays with the Irish fruits, it spoils a little.
With water texture lighter and more relief.
    • Finish
      Liqueur sweets, discreet exotic fruits.
With water, the fruits are released by sparkling. Drought supported. Endless length - who survived my evening toothbrushing, combining toothpaste mint with persistent fruit in the most beautiful way.

      Whisky n ° 2112

      Enthusiasm
      Nose 3/5
      Mouth 3/5 (4/5 with water)
      Final 4/5

Not the best Ireland DD, far from it!

    DD pledge of quality ?!
    • Nose
      concentrated yellow fruits
      a grassy side, sap
      vanilla
      malt, sweetness under the nostril
    • Taste
fruity and sweet sweetness again, sweet spices amplify the first sip
it's almost watery, it's pleasant with sweet scents, bread crumbs, it's honeyed, it's again on sweet white fruits (cooked apple and a little ripe pear!)
vanilla and bunch of flowers back
    • Finish
cooked white fruits, with their juices
      very sweet spices
      sweet, pleasant and fine malt.

  3. Bishlouk scored this whisky 90 points Connoisseur

A soft whisky, fine, very balanced, changing, evolving, fresh, and very easy to access. I could sip my dram for a long time.
    • Nose
Very fine and delicate from the beginning. Small wild flowers, sweet malt, yellow apple, a few drops of grapefruit, and vanilla dust. After aeration, the sap of the flower stalk swells. And then the floury fruits take possession of the place.
    • Taste
Vanilla fruits invade the mouth. Pear, grapefruit, lemon syrup, and green apple. Well balanced alcohol almost discreet.
    • Finish
Some spicy bursts. Flower sap, and a little apple peel.

  4. Toffie76 scored this whisky 88 points Expert Senior

    • Nose
vegetable, very fruity, delicate. Apples, pears, marzipan, sap. Dry biscuits, herbaceous, trace of smoke with water and a little aeration.
    • Taste
soft attack or erased. The texture is covering and oily. It's very sweet, rich and round. A little pear Williams. The flavors are released quite late in the development. The intensity gradually increases until taken hostage by retro-olfaction. All of a sudden, the malt reveals its richness and depth. A lot of fruit, honey and flowers. There is a lot going on and I would be curious to come back in a few weeks, after a little airing of the whisky in his opened bottle. It is a high class whisky.
    • Finish
long finish, smooth and malty. Very clean and rich.
