- A dram that brings us back to Christmas memories. A good little moment spent to taste it, but some defects all the same: aromas a little too discreet, spices a little too present, a bitterness that disturbs a little.
A first nose closed enough. We feel that there are many things, but everything is so melted, that nothing seems obvious. The texture looks creamy, and finally some notes stand out: orange, pepper and cinnamon. We are here on a rather spicy profile, even if some scents of mint come to refresh the whole. In general, this nose is a little too melted for my taste.
Contrary to what the nose suggests, the texture is very light. It's quite surprising. It's always very spicy, with cinnamon and orange. There are also notes of milk and coffee. An ideal whisky during winter, alternating with mulled wine! We imagine ourselves by the fire, the snow covering the bottom of the window!
Not very long, a bit bitter and always with this trio winner: coffee with milk, cinnamon, orange.
