Very interesting bottling, and happy I got my hands on a sample to be able to taste it.

Grassy notes, lots of vanilla, honey, toffee, very light acetone, sweeter fruity notes - pear and peach, honeysuckle. Light, but not too light. Marshmallows become dominating, and later minty notes come out as well.

Really good alcohol level, not so sweet as the nose would have you think, drier and oakier, with a large dose of freshly cut grass and bitter weed juices, it has trouble balancing things out at this point. Second chew brings more sweetness, balance is getting very good now. White fruit, pear and peach again, deep sweet notes, and bitterness is reduced. Overall this is getting very good. Some tobacco leaf, and very vague hint of something smoky. Third chew brings buttery notes, almonds, toffee, cream, vanilla and custard. A journey from the grass fields to the cake shop.

Really nice, probably the best part. Warm, very long, light spies, sweet fruit juice, light oak and grass juice, cream and toffee, great balance.

Warm on the vanilla. Apricot velvet - I do not know if it exists, but it's there. Very fine. Honey is getting stronger. Fruit syrup. After the first sip, it is the toffee that dominates the nose. The volume of aromas is not huge, but it's beautiful. At the beginning of the mouth, a certain austerity, restraint. Sweetness, vanilla, spices and at the end of the mouth, beautiful fruits that spread their wings (the famous fruits with wings) in the final in a pretty way, reach their peak and blend in a twilight plant, with a little drought. I had a great time.

    Enthusiasm 5/5

Very grassy nose, a little sickening, tending towards acrylic paint, wet cardboard. Mouth quite insignificant, a little vanilla, a little spicy, a little woody. Final in the same register. Not bad in the Lowlands style, but really nothing to rave about.

I recently happened to have a 6cl sample of this extraordinary Littlemill.

Such a shame that I didn't discover it when the bottle was released. This bottle has grown out to be the one Littlemill expression every collector want's to  have. In short: best Littlemill I tasted so far (not only because of it's mytical proportions).
