Medium long, dry, not that complex but still very good

Blossom honey, slightly waxy. Roasted baguette with herb butter, thyme particularly stands out.
A hint of tropical fruits, mango and passion fruit.

Very smooth on the tongue, by no means watery or weak-chested.
Honey sweetness, tropical fruit. Slightly resinous, herbs (again thyme). Red apple, candied.

Medium length, slightly spicy but above all sweet. Herbs again.

Nice whisky, in which the long barrel storage was not noticeable with a distinct oak impact.
The herbal notes in combination with the tropical fruit are very interesting and I really liked it

The cask must have been very inactive, because there is almost no oakyness at all, the whisky is fresh and clean. An excellent Tamnavulin.
    • Nose
A tropical fruit potpourri dominated by citrus fruits at first nosing. Surprisingly fresh. Notes of vanilla and beeswax, slightly grassy plus a whiff of candy floss, juicy fruit bubblegum and hairspray. A lovely nose.
    • Taste
A lovely fresh and clean spiciness at first mouthfeel. Notes of apples with mint, pepper and chilli. Some vanilla as well. Very tasty.
    • Finish
Medium long with a dry aftertaste.

again a young age. Not quite as fresh as Zanzibar, but a little stronger.
    • Nose
The nose is rather dusty, a touch of hair spray, citrus, herbs (thyme) and of course oak, but again not too strong for the age.
    • Taste
mild, soft round, a lot of oak, some honey
    • Finish
sweet and soft, a hint of menthol and tart oak notes, which become stronger towards the end.
