In the glass schöre strong drops form, which slowly flow off and thereby form beautiful legs. I would classify it optically as oily. Whisky sherry kegs are not really my cup of tea, I like this one very much.
    • Nose
Clear Sherrynoten, perhaps paired with a little sulfur, pleasantly mild without stinging in the nose. Beautiful grape, makes a heavy impression, with time, sparkling citrus notes, orange. Light wood tones - everything very well integrated. The initially available sulfur note has disappeared and it has made a vain impression.
    • Taste
Full-bodied, soft, creamy, clear woody notes and sherry notes. Grapey, sparkling, slightly dry. Something sweet
    • Finish
Mild and soft, Sherrynoten, here too the grapes are found again, dry, very slightly bitter. Persistently one notices the grape tones when exhaling.

  5. Koalafant scored this whisky 80 points Expert Senior

    • Nose
very light with delicate sherry note
    • Taste
      delicate, delicate and complex
    • Finish
      comparatively long

  6. WhiskyLovingPianist did not rate this whisky Connoisseur

N: Good stuff here. Smells more like bourbon on the nose, certainly not a sherry bomb. Theres a good amount of wood, not overly active casks but id have guessed around 15yo.
T: This is more 'Bunnary' than many out there. Theres a lot of development here - oils, wood, sugars and spices all playing their part in the journey. Becomes a sweet fruity Ribena.
F: The spirit is still talkative, sugars and freshness lead to light caramel and white chocolate
C: Good stuff. Not outstanding but recommended.

    Scores a B
