Whisky Reviews for Kilchoman Machir Bay
14 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 87.14 points
- Overall, despite the youth, a great malt, convinced by its force and complexity!
Lemon and menthol, pleasant smoke level, wet soil, flower meadow with herbs, yellow fruit, apricot, Alocohol is well integrated, cinnamon, coffee
sweet. Cinnamon & chocolate, nice smoke, apricot, very intense, you can easily notice the youth (metallic note)
become drier, shortly comes to sulfur, oak, the combination remains smoke & fruit, in addition to salt and finally again menthol to the fore
- Excellent product. A Machir Bay who is eyeing the side of single casks!
Balanced and racy. We want more ...
- I like Kilchoman
Of course, he is still quite young, lots of smoke, citrus and a touch of oak and sweetness
not more, but not less ... no notes
Pure it is too sharp for me, with water it is just right and the metallic note is gone
when it comes from Kilchoman once malts at the age of 10 years ....
a lot of smoke, strong and intense
2/3 hospital and 1/3 campfire
fresh citrus, bright
young, smoky, but very pleasant
the smoke makes even more, but also the campfire gets stronger
hui, pure he burns
then sweet, a lot of smoke and a bit metallic
strong, but no more alcoholic burning
real sour citrus
behind the lemon then honey sweeties
and smoke everywhere
1/3 hospital, 1/3 flaming campfire and 1/3 ash
