- I start to like Japanese whisky more and more but this one is a little dissapointing to me.
- Seems a bit old school, the nose is okay, in the mouth, the alcohol is quite poorly integrated despite only 40% and somewhat flat in the flavors. There remains an artificial taste at the end. Reminiscent of a blend. A decent whisky, but nothing more.
very oily, slightly sprittig, a lot of solvents, dried fruit in the direction of raisins and plums, malty, a little sherry, oranges, juicy raisins and cane sugar, a touch of leather
strong, malty, oranges, slightly sourish, a few raisins, a brown cane sugar note, also oily in the mouth, at the end also pepper and chilli
The heat decreases and then it stays bitter and slightly sour, at the end a few tannins, very dry and also somewhat artificial
- A wonderful standard from Japan, which shows why the Japanese grew up in the subject of whisky. Amazing oak for 10 years
very beautiful, elegant, bright ripe fruit and a beautiful oak note that carries light bourbon elements .. vanilla, spices. Mild and delicious, very Japanese.
mild, but quite peppery, the oak spice dominates, tends slightly into the mentholig sour, sweet ripe fruit frolicking in the background.
Vanilla, oak, sweetish tart, almost a little bit smoky, without peat. The oak has that say, yet mild.
- Really good standard from Japan, for 45-50 euros the bottle I would think it over. ;)
He has beautiful apple notes, elegant, some cognac-like, floral, violet, sweet honey, toffee, lavender oil, some chamomile tea, hints of citrus, hibiscus
The honey returns, very silky and elegant on the go, sweet malt, hibiscus tea, light grapefruit notes, red apple, thyme, hints of anise, toffee, chamomile, some white pepper, oak
Oak, the teen stay, sweet malt and grapefruit peel, medium length
Very floral. Reminds me of the Hibiki Japanese Harmony.
A lot of vanilla. Very sweet on the tongue.
Flowery again on the finish.
