Whisky Reviews for Invergordon 1988 DH

2 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 86.88 points

  1. Sensefreak scored this whisky 88 points Expert Senior

Delicious, traditional grain in the best 1/3. Kind, vanilla nose after some time in the glass. Nice body despite "only" 26 years old. Charming edgy finish and a overall good balance

  2. WhiskyLovingPianist did not rate this whisky Connoisseur

N: Young, green, herbal malt revealing light turpentine mixed with Cinzano and a light bovril stock - its better than that sounds, honest.
T: Sweet and young, basic but lovely. Abundant in cream and more cream with sucrose, vanilla & varnish. Theres some heat towards the end
F: Vanillas and lots of caramel with dirty notes at the end, good dirt. The sugars go on and on
C: Still young for a grain but its good. It can’t however touch the sublime young 21yo Port Dundas Clan Denny WB

    Scores a C+
