Reminiscent of an old-style Sherry Malt with Paxarette treatment. Great barrel.

Really surprisingly good! Especially for the age very complex and interesting. Of course it was a very active barrel, but it is not that the whisky would be slain, the overall picture is quite balanced.
    • Nose
Immediately - oh wonder - sherry full, with a good dose of yeast. The yeast is gone after a few minutes, it remains an appetizing balanced nose, a lot of sherry, some ripe plums, slightly sour overtones that remind of unripe plums here. Some furniture polish and wax, not even a tickling in the nose! Late comes to burnt popcorn, other sweets, vanilla, liquorice.
    • Taste
Legendary, almost 65% and there is nothing burning. Absolutely perfectly integrated alcohol! At first he is moderately sweet as honey. Towards the back he gets a bit diagonal with artificial fruit sweets, licorice and a hint of mint. The oak also tapped gently with a few tannins
    • Finish
He goes medium, dominated in ethanol tilted gum with gummi bears, which slowly fade in the direction of licorice.

this is not a sherry bomb, this is a sherry atomic bomb! Nothing for weak nerves. He conceals the youth well, but with water it becomes clearer that he is young. Does not matter, just tastes good.
    • Nose
Pur: immediately it's clear, this is where the barrel makes the music. Extremely heavy, dark sherry notes, classic, not too dry, lots of chocolate, raisins, some cherry and very slightly dirty sulfur, which enriches the picture quite well. With plenty of water: now more whisky-typical fruits like pears and applesauce, but now also looks a little immature.
    • Taste
Pure: wow, as in the nose massive sherry board, waves of liquid chocolate, cherry liqueur and espresso. Of course quite sharp, because young and very strong. What a sherry concentrate wall! With water: pleasant but also mediocre, say, the sherry wall crumbles a bit, but does not matter, now really tasty. Not insanely complex, but runs well.
    • Finish
      medium length, pepper, chocolate, oak

Requires water, the intensity and variety despite the small age suggest an excellent active barrel
    • Nose
At first the alcohol dominates, then the sherry sets in. After addition of water, beeswax and vanilla, sour cherry compote, blood orange, liquorice and sour gummy bears also appear
    • Taste
Sherry, oak - tastes older than 7 years
    • Finish
