Whisky Reviews for Invergordon 10-year-old

- On the nose sugar, banana mousse, a pale fruit syrup. Steamed sweet puddings, think treacle puddings but not a sugary and strong. Little angel cakes fresh out of the oven.
In the mouth it's sweet, smooth, slightly oily, creamy and mild. A little savoury pepper, a cardboard note, warming and rounded and mellow.
Drinking this little dram makes you more aware of what goes into a blend, you can sense how this would mix in with finer, better flavoured things and help tie it all together.
An enjoyable educative dram but not worth drinking on its own in any volume.
