    • Nose

pleasant, slightly fruity (fresh fruit from the orchard), sweetish with a little honey, grain notes, raisins soaked in water, and a tiny bit of alcohol ..., a little oak. Not intrusive but nice.
    • Taste
      87 87
Easy start, a bit spicy with oak, a little tingly on the tongue, fruity with steamed apricots, sultanas, sweetish with a slight honey note.
    • Finish
      86 86
Soft, fruity and sweet, apricots, raisins, a hint of honey and maybe also quince jelly, slightly tart oak notes, but not bitter, balanced and tasty on a long finish with a malty finish.

      * With a little water it is fruity in appearance and taste, sweetish, but here too with oak notes and a slight spiciness. Long and sweet with slightly tart oak notes ending ...

    Nose:
Nice nose, pollen, flowers, honey and heather. Reminds me of a field full of heather in early morning dew.

    Taste:
Sweet. Then come some bitteroranges, quite some bourbon influences, like toffee and vanilla. With water it gets a lot milder and accessible.

    Body:
Full and round (after adding some water though)

    Finish:
Medium-long length. Burst of vanilla, toffee and citrus. A tad bitter and all in all it fades away slowly.

    Price:
    Under €100,- is a steal!

    Presentation:
Don't know this was a sample.

Nose and taste are both balanced. Lemon cake.
    • Nose
Intense aromas with all that a bourbon barrel can give: vanilla, honey, caramel (the hard toffee), lots of fruit (bananas, melons, apples, pears, oranges / grape / citrus), creamy pudding or milk. Minty, spicy (ginger). 44 points
    • Taste
Oily, fine viscosity. Very intense with lots of citrus, fresh oak, creamy-oily texture, palate-filling, full-bodied. Honey, some caramel, spicy (ginger). 44 points
    • Finish
Long, slightly burning with lots of citrus, dry-sweet.
