A class part. I tasted even better when trying it out.
    • Nose
      Beautiful gold tone

Begins for me today again old and moldy. Then again the association of cigar smoke on an old leather chair. Followed by roasted malt, some licorice and asphalt after installation. In addition discreet, braised rubber. Something "clear, cold" is still behind it. I'll leave it ...
With some time in the glass come dirty sour cherries. Add earth and some rosemary. From the background apricot jelly and capped lemon prevail. The smoky note is now more towards, ashes. I like the nose very much.
    • Taste
Soft start. Then a little smoke and honey. A pinch of pepper comes right after. The light fruity taste is nice creamy and has something cooked. The 43% I think is great here. The alcohol already stands out easily.
The second sip I find the lemon again. Add herbs and cherries again. The smoke has something of asphalt vapor. As if inhaling while asphalting. Bitterness in the form of hazelnut is added. With something like chocolate sauce from dark chocolate.
    • Finish
Medium. First sweet with neat honey. Then again this dirty smoke. Some rosemary and hazelnut liqueur.

Pretty pleasant, not very complex, especially sweet and soft. Nice to have tasted.
    • Nose
Spicy and sweet, honey, raisins, cinnamon. Banana also what. somewhat musty, smell of an autumn forest.
    • Taste
Slightly tingling / peppery, sweet, honey. Then it becomes soft, creamy, caramel / fudge.
    • Finish
Sweet, honey, medium-long, somewhat caramel. Soft finish.

    Quite delicious:
    fruity - spicy - creamy
    Maybe a bit musty,
    maybe I'll just picture it.
My bottling was probably distilled in the early fifties.
