Behavior - sherry - sweet, no alcohol, some wood
alcoholic spicy, sweet sherry that runs after bitter
long, alcoholic, a lot of wood comes slowly but surely
- Glenfarclas 1974-2014, 39y, Family Cask, Refill Sherry Cask 5879, 57.2% Color: dark mahaghoni Nose: ripe oranges, cocoa powder, dark chocolate, wet park bench, later toffee Body: medium / oily Mouth: Alcohol clearly, slightly tingling on the tongue, dark chocolate, orange peel, some wood and herbs Departure: first mild, then raw, fierce and warming, in the end, old books, dry wood Conclusion: 90p., Beautiful overaged sherry cask whisky, still alive and kicking, great tennis
