Out of the bottle streams spice and honey, heather and citrus - obviously the HP character - very intense !!
At first (… the bottle was just opened …) some UHU and spirit, that changes very soon into lemon juice and peal, burnt wooden beams, 'old' fruit sweetness, ashes, peat, jams (much cherry jam!), Cognac, tart-sweet-fruity honey on a fresh crisp bun with butter, honey with a splash of vinegar and Cayenne pepper, Minestrone, sugar (Demerara, too), hints of banana, fine calf liver sausage, leather (with butter), bullion cube, pralines with some scouring powder, some herbs, plums, Sauerbraten sauce (sweet - with sultanas), white bacon fat, some toffee between, there is a meal in Franconia: 'Stadtwurst mit Musik' - vinegar, oil, salt & pepper and a tiny little sugar and onions in water …, wine vinegar, Schwarzwälder Kirsch, biscuit cream roll, orange juice, leather chair, saltwater on rocks, strawberry jam comes up, pears, green salad, some pinecones, light nougat, leather with a little Eau de Cologne.
Jams, pepper, cherry juice, citrus, oranges, sweetness of cakes, honey, leather, Brandy beans, citrus peal, Demerara, cocoa powder and dark chocolate, salt, peat, oak, car repair, burnt cake, fruit brandies, sausage sandwich, smoke, charred wood, cereals, leather furniture, Franzbranntwein, salt water, Miso soup, Radicchio, coniferous forest, camping tent, some maltiness;
later also mineral (rocks, metal), bees wax, apple peal, tart Masala spice …
All components are wonderfully interwoven and so rich and fat - incredible good!
Brandy beans (also mixed with honey), Rumtopf, Franzbranntwein on the one side,
jams and jam sweetness, Demerara and honey on the other;
from the wood comes dark chocolate, lemon, sweet leather, Cognac, herbal spices, tobacco leaves with honey, vegetables, salt, some wood …;
aftertaste of forest berry jam, apples, radicchio, butter, dried heather and some honey, beer foam.
