Whisky Reviews for Bunnahabhain 1987 ANHA
2 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 87.27 points
- Color: saturated gold Nose: Great fruity notes of apples, pears, whitecurrants and gooseberries. In addition, beeswax, orange marmalade and light oak flavors. Mouth: A supple and oily feeling with a beautiful sweetness immediately spreads throughout the mouth. Ripe pears, gooseberries, white currant cake with meringue. The alcohol is not intrusive at all and fits in harmoniously. Finish: Medium long, sweet and finally slightly drier. The bright fruits linger for quite a while. Conclusion: A fantastic Bunnahabhain I would prefer the issue price to the XXV in any case. He really does not have to hide. Unfortunately, it has not been on the market for a long time, but who is surprised at only 24 bottles and this quality. Slàinte mhath
- An interesting whisky to taste, but far from surprising. I prefer Bunna by far in Sherry casks.
A light nose that must be inhaled for a long time in order to dissect it. Yellow and green apple, a very light dry grass smoke, some spring flowers, rhubarb.
This Bunna is more present in the mouth than the nose. Apple, citrus fruits and their zests, dry straw. It's melted and not very complex.
Short final. The flavors fade quickly.
